The agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Smartr ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. Smartr is operated by ZBGC LLC ("we," "us"). If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Smartr. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

Subscriptions and trials

Smartr is a paid app with a free trial. Trial details, pricing, and renewal terms are shown in-app before you subscribe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can cancel anytime from iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple per the App Store policy.

Not financial advice

Smartr is a tool. It surfaces your spending, income, and trends so you can make better decisions. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own money.

Account balances and transactions are pulled from third-party providers (Plaid, Apple FinanceKit, your manual entries) and may be delayed, missing, or incorrect. Always verify with your bank before making decisions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Smartr for anything illegal, fraudulent, or harmful.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the app or our servers.
• Try to access another user's data, or the data of any account you don't own.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app or any of its content.
• Use the app to launder money, evade taxes, or commit any other crime.

Your data

We treat your data with the care described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your financial data. By using Smartr, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide and improve the service.

Termination

You can stop using Smartr and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm other users. On termination, your data is wiped and any active subscription is cancelled.

Disclaimers and limits

Smartr is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
